Bio
Originally from DC (Glover Park), my research focuses on the microeconomics of poverty, and economic development. I received my PhD in development economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, where I worked under supervisors Jean-Louis Arcand (micro development), and Nicolas Berman (international trade). I have professional experience working with household survey data at the International Food Policy Research Institute (DC), the IMF (DC), and the World Bank (Geneva, DC, Rome). I also specialize in geospatial data analysis using GIS software.

From 2004-2011 I was a professional commentator for video game competitions or eSports. I was very fortunate that I was able to travel the world to places such as Italy, and South Korea to participate in global tournaments, which were broadcast online and on TV around the world.
