A new program encourages AU alumni—150,000 strong—to return to the nest to pursue a master’s degree. The Double Eagle Graduate Scholarship for those who hold a bachelor’s or graduate degree from AU offers a 30 percent discount on eligible programs.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for alumni who have new career goals that might require graduate education to grow their knowledge base and pursue a degree that aligns with their needs and aspirations,” says Wendy Boland, dean of Graduate and Professional Studies.

The 30 percent savings may take the form of tuition or shared credits from an eligible, consecutive bachelor’s program, which would reduce the overall cost of the graduate degree.

The scholarship does not apply to online partner programs, nondegree programs like certificates or badges, WCL programs, or affiliated AU programs such as Washington Semester. Recipients must be a new enrollee to a master’s-level degree program and cannot combine the scholarship with other discounts.

Eagles eager to get back into the classroom should visit american.edu/provost/ogps or contact the admissions office for the graduate program they’re interested in for more information.
