What is Academic Coaching?

In one-on-one meetings, learners work with academic coaches to identify and enhance academic strategies. Sessions are interactive and learners can expect to leave with a strategic action plan. 

Who can utilize coaching?

Our year-round services are open to all degree-seeking AU learners, undergraduate and graduate. 

Where does it take place?

Virtual Sessions are held via Microsoft Teams, Monday - Friday. Students may download Teams as one of the Microsoft Office 365 Applications. In-person sessions are also available throughout the week. Please check our YouCanBook.Me for details.

How many sessions can I schedule in a semester?

You may schedule one 30-minute academic coaching session each week (Monday-Friday).

Depending on the focus, learners attend coaching sessions as often as once a week or as little as once or twice a semester. You can share with your coach what feels right for you. 

Where can I find a downloadable or digital copies of resources?

Digital resources can be found in our online Resource Library. 

Where can I find hardcopies of resources?

Hardcopies can be found on the resource wall outside of MGC 243.
