Bio
Jason Fritz, Ph.D., is a researcher and consultant on peacebuilding, fragile and conflict states, the intersection of security and development, the politics of policing, and political violence. Prior to his current consulting, primarily at the World Bank, he was a researcher at the Brookings Institution. Before that, he was an applied researcher and consultant on a wide array of defense and foreign policy issues. From 2002 through 2008, he was an officer in the U.S. Army with operational and planning experience in Iraq.
Dr. Fritz received his Ph.D. in Justice, Law and Criminology and M.S. in Terrorism and Homeland Security Policy from American University. He received his B.S. in Mathematical Sciences from the United States Military Academy at West Point. His is also a Senior Editor at War on the Rocks.
