Robert ("Bob") Pincus ('80)
Robert “Bob” Pincus led Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom’s corporate practice in Wilmington, Delaware, and chaired the firm’s Partnership Selection Committee for many years.
Mr. Pincus represented and advised clients in a wide variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and Delaware law aspects of transactions, fiduciary duties and corporate governance matters.
Mr. Pincus has been repeatedly selected for inclusion in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business and The Best Lawyers in America. He was also selected as a 2015 “BTI Client Service All-Star” by The BTI Consulting Group for providing outstanding client service.
Mr. Pincus is on the National Board of Directors, American Israel Public Affairs Committee, as well as the Board of Directors for SOS Children’s Villages USA, Inc.
Mr. Pincus earned his B.B.A. from the College of William and Mary in 1977, his J.D., magna cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law in 1980, and his L.L.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University Law Center in 1983.
