Erica is from Ghana, where she obtained her primary law degree and qualified to practice law. She holds a Master of Laws degree with a specialty in Corporate Law from Harvard Law School. Before joining American University, Erica worked with a non-profit in DC where she advised on corporate governance matters and transactions with the organization’s partners in Kenya, Ghana and Liberia. She intends to leverage her background in corporate law and an LL.M in IP to support small and mid-size companies in protecting their intellectual property and complying with data privacy laws. She is currently serving as in-house counsel at a Software-as-a-Service company. She can be reached at ericankrumah@gmail.com
