Shirin advocates for affordable treatment in the private sector from a right to health perspective through her writings. She also follows the issue of IP rights, innovation and access to medicines. She intends to specialise in the public interest aspect in the enforcement of IP, focusing on access to medicines and knowledge and wants to bring focus on the flexibilities related to the enforcement of these IP rights. She likes to have an in-depth analysis of theoretical and empirical evidence on the public interest considerations in patent and copyright disputes. She can be reached at shirinsyed511@gmail.com
