International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia
The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) was established by the UN Security Council in 1993 to prosecute perpetrators of serious violations of international criminal and humanitarian law committed in the former Yugoslavia since 1991.
