Alex Meves made this breakfast tray in two days using only materials around the lab! Alex loves breakfast and wanted to get more comfortable with woodworking. First, he cut a piece of plywood (available for free to lab members) to size, then cut rounded corners with a coping saw. He sanded the board smooth, then glued small blocks to the bottom to serve as legs. Next, he glued small pieces to the top as barriers for round objects and spills. Finally, he drilled holes into the feet with a drill press and added screws for extra integrity. Alex got to practice woodworking skills and was very proud of his creation.
