3D Cube Puzzle

The four separate pieces of the cube puzzle

Professor Donna Deitz designed a 3D cube puzzle in a 3D CAD program. Each piece was carefully designed so that when assembled in the correct orientation and order, they create a complete cube. DaBL staff helped her print the pieces using our Type A 3D printer. Each piece was printed in a different color to make the pieces distinct and to make the cube more visually interesting when assembled. This fun and creative project involved some math, 3D CAD, and the 3D printer.
