Nature's Horror Story
November 19, 7:00–8:00 p.m. |
Bender Library Lower Level (B30)
We are all familiar with True Crime, but what about Ture Horror? Did you know that some of the most popular zombie creations have their roots in reality as well? In certain rainforests, there is an ant-fungal relationship that results in the formation of ‘zombie ants’. This has inspired the creatures featured in shows like "The Last of Us", but how real is this portrayal and what is the likelihood of real human zombies? Join us for this talk from Dr. Vikki Connaughton and stay after for some thrilling desserts!
