Bio
Matthew is the Assistant Director of the David M. Rubenstein National Center for White House History for the White House Historical Association in Washington, D.C. He earned his PhD and MA from Marquette University, and BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is publishing his first book with University Press of Kansas in 2019 on the memory of George Washington, and is currently at work on a second project that explores the impact of Theodore Roosevelt and his family on the White House.
