Student Speech, Education Policy, and College Campuses
On December 4, ARPC co-hosted a group of scholars and experts to discuss recent Congressional resolutions SR 418 and HR 798 regarding terrorism, antisemitism, and speech on college campuses. Drawing on their expertise in race and educational equity, media communications and law, and 21st century surveillance in US higher education, speakers explored the historical and sociopolitical context for these resolutions and assessed their impact for students and youth organizers, particularly those from racilized communities. The event was part of ARPC's ongoing initiative on race and educational access and equity.
