New Title IX Rule Issued by U.S. Department of Education

On April 19, 2024, the U.S. Department of Education released its final rule under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. The new regulations go into effect on August 1, 2024. The Office of Equity and Title IX is in the process of reviewing the new regulations and working with campus partners to modify University policies to ensure AU’s compliance by August 1, 2024.
