August 19, 2024	Executive in Residence Anita B. McBride held a discussion and Q&A session at the Vicksburg District Library in Vicksburg, Michigan, presented with the Gilbert and Ivy, LLC Bookshop. McBride also held a book signing for Remember the First Ladies.
August 15, 2024	Executive in Residence Anita B. McBride moderated a conversation for the White House Historical Association's "History Happy Hour" with Lisa Kathleen Graddy, curator of Political History at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. McBride and Graddy discussed the history and constantly changing Smithsonian's exhibit on first ladies.
August 9, 2024	Executive in Residence Anita B. McBride attended a book signing party in Martha's Vineyard and also appeared at a "Meet the Author" and book signing event at Edgartown Books.
August 8, 2024	Executive in Residence Anita B. McBride participated in a "Meet the Author" and book signing event at Mitchell's Books Nantucket as their guest author to feature Remember the First Ladies.
August 7, 2024	Executive in Residence Anita B. McBride participated in a discussion and book signing for the Nantucket Yacht Club's Lecture Series, moderated by Tarah Breed. McBride highlighted her recently released book on U.S. first ladies.
August 6, 2024	Executive in Residence Anita B. McBride spoke at the ST Engineering Women's Leadership Group, hosted by LeeBoy and led by Women@Work's Dianne Howells at the company's biannual meeting in Lincolnton, NC. McBride participated in a conversation on the impact and legacies of first ladies.
July 30, 2024	Executive in Residence Anita B. McBride participated in a moderated conversation and book signing at APCO's global headquarters in Washington, DC to feature "Remember the First Ladies: The Legacies of America's History-Making Women."
June 29, 2024	Executive in Residence Anita B. McBride spoke on a panel at the Gold Coast Book Fair in Brookville, New York with Edward F. O'Keefe and moderated by PBS's "Firing Line" host, Margaret Hoover to discuss "Women Who Shaped the Presidency" and to highlight Remember the First Ladies, followed by a book signing.
June 26, 2024	Executive in Residence Anita B. McBride participated in a book signing and discussion on Remember the First Ladies at the Ebenezer Theater in Easton, Maryland.
June 20, 2024	Executive in Residence Anita B. McBride participated in the 2024 Annual Martha Washington Lecture at the George Washington Presidential Library at Mount Vernon in Alexandria, Virginia, alongside her co-authors Diana Carlin and Nancy Kegan Smith. They discussed their book, Remember the First Ladies, and in particular highlighted how Martha Washington defined the new role of first lady for the United States and how she and others influenced Americans.
June 19, 2024	Executive in Residence Anita B. McBride participated in a discussion and book signing for Remember the First Ladies at Lugano Salon in Washington, DC, alongside Taylor Baldwin Kiland, author of Unwavering: The Wives Who Fought to Ensure No Man is Left Behind. The discussion was moderated by NewsNation anchor Leland Vittert.
June 17, 2024	Executive in Residence Anita B. McBride was featured in C-SPAN Classroom's Bell Ringers video feature on the Creation of the Office of the First Lady. McBride appeared with Nancy Kegan Smith and Diana Carlin to talk about the role of first ladies and how their communication styles evolved over time. April 16, 2024	Executive in Residence Anita B. McBride participated in a conversation at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center with journalist Katie Rogers to discuss both of their new books on the history and importance of America's first ladies. Rogers recently published American Woman: The Transformation of the Modern First Lady, from Hillary Clinton to Jill Biden and McBride discussed her book, Remember the First Ladies.
March 26, 2024	Executive in Residence Anita B. McBride delivered remarks at the LeMieux Center for Public Policy at Palm Beach Atlantic University, in a conversation entitled "The Evolving Role of U.S. First Ladies."
