The Public Servant Planning and Skills Network supports public servants -- from furloughed and displaced federal employees, to nonprofit executives and staff, and federal contractors -- as they navigate unplanned career transitions. This initiative is hosted at American University's School of Public Affairs (SPA).

No problem. This initiative supports AU Eagles and non-Eagles alike with a suite of career development sessions, skills workshops, expert panels, opportunities to network, access to university resources, and more. For those within the AU community, the Career Center offers resources such as career fairs, 1:1 career advising, and more.
