The Kay Spiritual Life Center has two large spaces for hosting services, programs, and special events:

• KSLC Chapel: Fixed seating for 250 persons & Alter/stage capacity of 50 persons with flexible set-up; built in podium; piano; space equipped with sound system; users must submit their own AV request and manage space set-up and take-down.
• KSLC Lounge w/ Kitchen: Holds 75 persons in lecture style seating or 50 persons with tables/chairs; movable furniture; mounted flat screen monitor with HDMI hook-up; users must submit their own AV request and manage space set-up and take-down.

During the Academic Year: Space priority is given to KSLC communities and AU internal events. Departments and student organizations can request use of either space through EMS. 

During the Summer Season: Space priority is given to University Conference and Guest Services. If space is available, private non-AU events such as weddings or memorials may be requested to KSLC@american.edu. Proof of insurance is required and fees will apply.
