The Bridge Cafe, which opened its doors to the AU community in 2017, is a student-run coffee shop with operational support from the University Center. 

The light-filled space provides plenty of tables and seating areas for meeting with friends and study groups, finishing up end-of-semester projects, or relaxing between finals. In addition to serving as a central gathering space, the Bridge also plays host to concerts, open mic nights, and other events throughout the semester.

Yes, you can! The Bridge hosts a number of different events, including open mic nights, speaker panels, interactive programming, and more.  

To host an event in the space, you will need to reach out with basic event information and your vision. Keep in mind that The Bridge does remain open to the public, so any private events would need to be spoken about beforehand.

Because The Bridge serves primarily as a food service location, you cannot request The Bridge in our event scheduling platform, EMS. To inquire about performing or hosting an event, please fill out this quick form on the Engage platform.
