Office of Career & Professional Development

The Office of Career and Professional Development is operating on a hybrid schedule. Counseling appointments made in CareerLink can now take place in person or via Zoom. Please email us at careerdevelopment@wcl.american.edu with your questions or concerns.

The Office of Career & Professional Development (OCPD) collaborates with JD and LL.M. students, alumni, and employers to create opportunities for professional development training, networking, and recruiting. Comprised of experienced career counselors and a dedicated recruiting team, the OCPD is ready to help our students and graduates Champion What Matters.

Students and alumni can expect to partner with the office on all aspects of their career development through its professional development programs, individual counseling, and other targeted offerings, including WCL-specific student resources. Visit the Students/Alumni page for more information.

We invite employers to connect with our office for all their recruiting needs, whether it is to post a job in our virtual job bank, participate in our recruiting programs both on and off campus, or connect and collaborate with students on other professional opportunities. Visit the Employers page to find out more.
