The Eagle is AU's student newspaper, in circulation since 1925. The newspaper publishes news, features, sports and opinions online daily, as well as in two print editions distributed each semester.

WVAU is AU's student-run internet radio station. The station's roughly 80 DJs feature music ranging from indie, hip-hop and electronica to experimental, folk and jazz.
American Television (ATV) is AU's student-run television station, which broadcasts news and other programs 24/7 on campus cable channels 2 and 15 and streams online.
